Poem 2: Single Weighted Ball
1. The rocks are starting to shake
2. The stomping of hooves break
3. With a loud rumble
4. Swift as air
5. One stops
6. They all stop
7. To hear
8. The faint
9. Call of a
10. Hawk.
11. Tick
12. Tick
13. Minutes, hours
14. Says the clock
15. One by one
16. Within seconds
17. They all fall
18. From a
19. Single weighted ball
I liked the simplicity of this poem, doesn't let the reader trail off. Also the imagery is great from the start. I liked the second line with the hooves.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I couldn't really tell the theme of the poem, but either way it kept my interest. The rhyme scheme was a nice set up and worked well.
