First week of classes are done! Between school and work.. I am wiped out. Two auditions that I wasn't prepared for. Didn't help that I didn't have any horn lessons. With school and work it is hard to find time to do my school work and practice, so unfortunately I am going to have to change my availability again so that I don't work as much. I did find time to have fun though. Monday after classes I went to see my friend where we made some amazing homemade pizza. Lots of onions, yum. Wednesday I went out to eat with my friend again, and then after that I went out with another friend, walked around the lake and watched a movie. Lots of fun there. Friday I went to the state fair with a group of friends. A lot of fun, but I didn't get to eat all the food I wanted too though.. But I guess that means I saved some money! Afterwords I went and watched a movie with my friend. Worked today, but afterwords I met up with my friend for short period of time and met some of his friends. Good stuff there. Tomorrow I work some more. Hopefully it'll be a good day!

I went to my cousin's wedding on Friday, was a lot of fun. Partied all night long and spent the night at the hotel. Great to see all my relatives. Saturday I went out with a couple of my friends and saw The Dark Knight Rises, great movie. I would have preferred it if it was more grim. Later I went out with my family and got a lovely 1/2 pound juicy Lucy. Yum! But then I felt guilty and so I went out for an evening bike ride and went around the lake a few times. I then proceeded to finish off some ice cream while watching the movie, Crazy, Stupid, Love. It was a great movie, also very funny.
Today I get to work all day. Sounds like fun, right?

Woke up early today so I would have more than two hours of free time before having to go back to work. First thing I did was take a morning bike ride down to the lake, very pleasant. Then I proceeded to watch the Olympics. I even whipped out the french horn and I did sound like a complete fart, but I still didn't sound very flattering. Work went pretty well bunch of fun people were there so time went by.
Tomorrow I have the day off! So what shall I do?

So Friday was the Orchestra Concert! It was amazing; the two main pieces they played were The William Tell Overture and Dvořák's New World Symphony. It was superb, there was another piece, cannot remember the name, but it featured a nineteen year old pianist. He wore an ugly shirt, but his playing skills were incredible. My friend that I took with; it was his first orchestra concert, he seemed to have enjoyed it very much, and what a perfect one to be his first! I had a lot of fun with him, it was a great night.
Saturday, my brother and I decided to be daring and took a 23 mile bike ride, which took us about six hours total, probably around 4.5 hours of biking if you don't include breaks and random stops. We had to make an emergency trip to a bike shop to get his peddle fixed, and we had an hour for lunch. The last hour of biking home, was the most tiring. Next time we want to try this 51ish mile bike trip, but get a group of friends to go with. It will be a day event, but it would be loads of fun if we can make it happen. Today I had to work. It was really boring and slow. Also, I had watched Get Him to the Greek, I like Russell Brand, but I don't understand why people recommended this movie to me. It wasn't very good. I also watched Reel Steal, that was an excellent movie. Enjoyed that one a lot.

I had a fun time at my friends, we watched New Years Eve, it was pretty good, typical cheesy chick flick. Worked Monday and Tuesday, but I did watch Friends With Kids, I liked that one. I also watched the original The Karate Kid, was alright, the karate was a bit cheesy though. It was still entertaining. Today I went to the gym with my brother and his friend, later I went out to eat with my family at The Olive Garden, was alright. I then went to meet up with a friend at the lake; we walked around and talked. There was a really nice sunset. Afterwords I had to pick up my brother but it would have been a waste of gas to drive all the way home to sit for five minutes and then come back, so I waited in the parking lot for an hour.I had the windows down, so then I could enjoy the weather. Over all a day I can't complain about. I also scored some tickets to see an orchestra concert, great seats. I felt like I mugged the person. Good thing I have good connections. That is on Friday though, can't wait!

I couldn't sleep, so I decided to take a test to see if I am tone deaf. I am not tone dead, I got a average rating. Now I really can't wait for classes to start. I have the sudden urge to play the french horn right now.. I really need to find a new teacher before the summer is up. I don't want to sound like crap on my first day of classes!

Boring day at work on Thursday, but it was nice to have the afternoon/evening off. Basically vegged out in front of the TV. Did that today also, before work. Work was slow and boring for the most part. Tomorrow I have the day off and I plan to spend the night at my friends. Should be fun.

So I had my visit to the doctor. Completely useless. I knew what he was going to say and what my answer would be. "You have a cyst, we can numb you up and cut it out," "Heck no, I'll live with the pain." What a waste. Oh well, I didn't want to go in the first place. Other than that, I had a pretty chill day. I have been watching House for an unhealthy amount of time. I also went out with my friend and had dinner, we talked a lot and I received a lot of advice. I always enjoy my time that I spend with her.

Not too bad of a day, enjoyed the hot weather on my way to work by rolling down my windows and turning off the AC. I could feel the sweat tainting my freshly showered body (not that you need to know that). Work wasn't too bad today; there was a fun bunch of people, so good conversations made the night go by. Plus we got out thirty minutes early, always an added bonus.
Now I get to wake up early for a lovely doctors appointment that I don't want to go to. Hurray.

Today I slept in and then worked until midnight, nothing new there. Last Saturday I went to a baby shower for a coworker, which was a lot of fun. Afterwords I hung out with my friend, where we did a small amount of shopping and then had ice cream. Yum yum. I also watched the movie We Bought a Zoo, which happened to be an excellent movie. A nice change of roles for Matt Damon I'd say. I have Real Steel coming in next, I'll let you know how that one is. Sunday was a blast; First I went to church with a friend and then later met up with another friend and ate some excellent tacos. Then we later enjoyed the weather at the lake. Afterwords we drove around and picked up another friend and then we went and saw The Hunger Games (Second time seeing it). After the movie, we got more tacos and ate them and talked for a bit. All good fun.
I surround myself with a good bunch of people, couldn't ask for better friends.

I was able to find the second half of D-Grayman subbed, so I was able to finish that awhile ago. Fantastic anime. I then watched and finished Angel Beats! My brother recommended it (I got him into watching anime..) It was entertaining but not my favorite. I also watched The Sitter, which was surprisingly funny and entertaining. Jonah Hill did a great job. I also watched Green Lantern which was okay. Entertaining, but not as good as I thought it would have been. We bought a Zoo is next from Blockbuster, and I have yet to find a new anime to watch.

What a week. I went to the dentist for my cavity. Then I had a doctors appointment for my wrist. It's been giving me on and off pain for months. He says it's a ganglion cyst. I dunno. It looks like my bone. So I am skeptical that there is anything actually wrong with it. (I didn't want to go to the doctors..) But now I have another appointment to see a surgical doctor. Like what the F?! I so didn't want this I would rather deal with the pain. He is going to be like "uh this is nothing, you are fine" and I'll be like "I didn't even want to see you!" Whatever I'll let you know what happens. Aside from all of that. I am an asshole. I shattered someones heart out of nowhere.. The person did not see it coming or anything. I don't blame the person for hating me now. In fact I wouldn't blame the person if they sent out a hit man to come beat the crap out of me. I would deserve it.. No one should have to go through what I did. I'm just a screwed up asshole.

It’s been a good week; Sunday I had a barbeque with a couple of my close friends. Lots of fun there. I had to work a lot during the week. On Wednesday, the Fourth of July I went swimming at the lake with a couple of my friends for a few hours. They then dumped me back at home, but another good friend of mine came through for me and we went to see the fireworks on the rooftop of his office building downtown. It was a lot of fun; we could see many fireworks from miles away. Defiantly one of the best Fourth of Julys yet.

Today was a pretty good day. Worked in the morning, then I tried to make plans to go to the lake with some friends but then stuff happened and that was a no go, so I crashed at another friends place and ate ice cream then got kicked out at eight because she goes to bed at nine. I then went to pick up my brother 45 minutes early, which I spent having good conversations with some coworkers.. I'm a distraction. :/ Was fun though! I then watched the movie Cowboys & Aliens with my family. It was entertaining, but got kind of cheesy towards the middle. Plus it wasn't very scary. Oh well. Next movie inline: The Sitter.

Went to the dentist today.. Found out I have a small cavity, which explains some of the pain I have had.. Ugh, I guess it was bound to happen. Ever since my implant, everything seems to be going down hill.. Oh well After the dentist I went back to bed for another 3 hours (Appointment was at 8am). I watched The Breakfast Club, very good movie. Later I saw Prometheus.. It was good, but too scary for me.
Now I have to wake up for work at 8am.

Great night! Hung out with my friend today. We ate tacos and then went and saw Rock of Ages, I enjoyed it a lot. We got out at about 9:30 and I had to pick up my brother from work at midnight so we killed time by driving around for about an hour and then decided to stop at a lake and walk around. There were fireflies! I found one in the grass, so I picked it up. They weren't as ugly as I thought they were. It was very cool. Then we went and got some drinks and waited in the parking lot for my brother. Had some fun conversations with coworkers (we work at the same place). Over all fun night.

Yesterday was a perfect day! Worked in the morning and then in the afternoon went to the lake with a friend. We swam and then went fishing of course. We caught one eight inch largemouth bass. Nothing impressive, but at least it wasn't another sunny! All in all it was a great day.
Today, I hit the snooze button for about two hours. I had to work in the evening. Which was a lot of fun. A good bunch of people. We sang the The Lion Sleeps Tonight a little to loudly.
I also am trying the Blockbuster in mail dealio. I watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which was a good movie. Next inline, Cowboys vs. Aliens; I'll let you know how that one is.

Was a great day until the end.. At work. A machine had gotten an error and naturally something has to go wrong when I work in the area I am not normally at. I can't find the manual, so I have to call the 1-800 number for help and the guy tells me what to do. But while all this is happening I have to multitask and manage the front of the store. That was stressful. So an hour and a half later I finally am able to fix the machine and close it down. What a night.
I am hopeful tomorrow stays nice so that I can get some fishing in after work.

For whatever reason I have been having a major sweet tooth this week. I have been eating a bunch of clearance candy that I bought, and then I bought a box of the hostess chocolate cupcake things (real healthy.. I know..) and I ate a bunch of those. I didn't notice how bad it was until I got home and my brother points out the fact that I am pouring Hershey's Chocolate Syrup in a glass of milk to make chocolate milk. Apparently I can't get enough sugar.
I was going to go fishing tomorrow because the weather has been so nice for the past two days, but then I hear that it is suppose to storm tomorrow! Lame! Oh well.. My friend lent me Assassins Creed, I might just play that all day instead.

Today was a pretty fun day, went up to a bridal shower. But I had also gotten the chance to visit Cabelas, where I was only intending to buy a hat.. I ended up buying a new rod and reel and racked up the bill to 100 bucks. Whoops. Although when I went home to put the line on the reel, my new reel is broken! Arg that is so frustrating because its a 40ish minute drive and I don't have the time to drive up there! Oh well I'll find time to drive up there. Aside from all that, I did go fishing with my brother. I didn't catch anything, but my brother did manage to catch a crappie. I need to find a new lake because this one is defiantly not cutting it for me. After fishing my brother and I rode our bikes around the lake 4 times.

Surprisingly work was really fun today. Tomorrow I don't have to go to work, but I do have my cousin's fiancé's bridal shower to go to. I have also come to realize my lack of sleep could be from all the caffeine I've been drinking.. Gotta start going back to my decaf drinks. Aside from all that my throat hurt a bit today, so I looked at it when I got home and there is a small white patch.. I hope to God I don't have strep, because that means there is a possibility that I infected all my coworkers. Whoops.

Today I was smart and miss judged how hard I was pushing in a cash drawer at work today, so I wasn't able to pull my hand out of it fast enough; I ended up smashing my pinky finger.. It was not easy hiding my pain from the person as I was telling them to "have a nice day" while tears were welding up in my eyes.
Tomorrow I get to go to the vet and drop off a lovely turd that is going to cost me 28 bucks and then pick up some Heart-worm Preventative medication for the lovely Cooper. God only knows how much that is going to cost. Thank goodness I love him...
At the moment my eyes are at that dry state of tiredness and all I want to do is close them and never open them again.

So today I went with my friend up to an outlet mall so that she could buy some new clothes for her internship and for just everyday. I did not spend nearly as much as she did, but I still spent quite a bit. It was a lot of fun to spend the day with her though. I also spent a good chunk of money on a plane ticket to Boston so I could visit her for Thanksgiving. I am really excited for that small trip to happen. But in the mean time, I need to stop spending so much money!

I finally finished the book Inheritance, I started reading it about a week ago. It was a good read, never a dull moment. Although at times it was a titch bit cheesy and predictable. I did think the ending was a good fit. I am a bit sad the series is done, but also glad because then I won't have to read anymore. I am awesomely lazy like that...

Today my brother's bird died. It was sad to watch as my brother held her, and her body growing lifeless. I'm sure she was happy to not be alone and to be in my brothers grasp was probably comforting. Although she did not like me she was still pretty awesome, picking on my bird (a bigger bird). Frodo was her name, my brother named her before we knew her gender. I liked to call her Frodokins. She was about 10 years old. She was a pretty cool bird. Hopefully you are in less pain and happily flying around in birdy heaven.

Today was not my day for work. Lets just say by the middle of my shift I was in tears, but thankfully I have some great coworkers and it got better towards the end.

My friends need to hurry up and come home from college. Next week I get to pick up one of my friends from the airport, which I am excited for (I am just that awesome of a friend). Cutting fruit is defiantly not my forte.. Especially melons.
Aside from spending hours cutting fruit, my grandparents stopped by to drop something off. Was nice to see them, has been about a year since I last talked/saw them. My lovely dog wasn't very good though, I put him upstairs in his sleeping kennel which is fabric, and he ripped a hole through it. I am not happy with him. What a munchkin.

I am going to go see The Avengers on Thursday so I decided to prepare myself by watching Captain America and Thor. They were both good, but I thought Thor was better. The humor in Thor was entertaining. I am looking forward to Seeing The Avengers and I will let you know how it is!

I am a Problem

I helped my brother pack up and come home from college, and naturally my father has to be a jerk. Plenty of road construction to get lost in, so I am trying to get him to our destination because I know where I am going, he doesn't agree and continues to call me a problem. That continued for 10 minutes and of which he called me a problem about 6 times. After that I wanted to be legal and put a measly 50 cents in the parking meeter. And because of that he said I was irresponsible with my money and stupid because I don't know how to spend my money. Does this logic make sense to you?? It certainly doesn't to me.. Basically he is saying I am stupid and irresponsible for following the law and paying the parking fee. Because of that he has vowed never to lend me a dollar for the 5th time. Whats new there? Then on top of that, he is subtly trying to find out when I plan to move out. It's okay, because I hate you too. I will hopefully move out as soon as it becomes possible, I truly hate living with you.

Pretty chill day at work. Was 9 hours long, so a bit long. But not bad. Afterwords went on a small journey to get some leeches, and then of course went fishing. Either I didn't find a good spot or the fish weren't biting, because all I got was a pathetically small sun fish. Oh and hey! Person fishing next to me, I'm no professional, but usually when you throw your line out and your bobber sinks strait down, generally it means you have too much crap on the end. Just saying'.. Over all not a bad day, but now my stomach is sick. Ugh!

What a Blast

So I went down with my friend to visit another friend who still has classes going. Lots of fun. I accidentally sprayed Kool-aid because I was laughing. Had a crash coarse on swing dancing, which was fun. Walked a bit and fooled around down by the river. And, of course we.. well I sort of pigged out. Over all great day, lots of fun, and so far it has been a good week to kick off summer.. Even though it is technically still Spring.

Okay so I went and saw The Lucky One with my friend. Was a cheesy chick flick and Zac Efron needs to improve his acting still. Was an entertaining movie. Yesterday was very nice out, so naturally a picnic had to be had. Then after I watched The Vow, which was pretty good. I liked the ending. Today I am going to be picking up one of my friends and then we are going on a 30ish minute drive to go see our other friend that still has classes. Should be fun. I think I hear "pig out" in the plans. Lots of fun to be had!

Great Weekend!

On Friday morning I did a volunteer thing with some coworkers, just labeling cans that were going to be sent to a food shelf. I managed to drop a large heavy can on my pinky finger, that was fun. But after that I drove up to my Uncles, and bought about $240 worth of fishing gear. Well worth my money if you ask me. Then this morning we went out on his boat and fished. I didn't get anything impressive, just a nice sunny and a dinky bass. Sadly we had to cut the fishing short because it was beginning to storm. All in all I had a fun weekend so far and can not wait for the summer to do some more fishing!

With the nice storms, comes bloody sweat drenching weather. My room is currently 85 degrees Fahrenheit, thats 8 degrees hotter than it is outside. I decided that it was time to retire my flannel snow man sheets for the season.

So I am planing to take a million music courses next semester and to help me out with that I am trying to find my old french horn teacher. But he is nowhere to be found! So in other words I am going to have to find a new teacher, which is hard enough.

Movies!

Just watched the movie Blue Valentine, very depressing and good. Although it was not as good as I was hoping for. Watching movies is probably one of my favorite past times. It's not a very healthy one if you ask me; I am surprised I am not some fat blubber ball with the way I eat while watching movies. Because I love movies so much I decided to rate a bunch on the Rotten Tomatoes website.
Nothing really interesting is going on. At the moment I am trying to learn how to play "River Flows in You" on the piano, and let me tell you: I am not very good.

I guess I haven't posted in a while, nothing too much has happened, semester is almost done. One more week of classes then I have finals. I am glad I only have to work one day of the week this week, because I am in one of those moods of I don't want to do anything productive. Wont be a very pretty paycheck, but I need a break. I am excited for Friday and Saturday though, Friday in the morning I am doing a volunteer thing for work, and then after that I am driving up to my Uncles to go shopping for fishing gear. Then if Saturday has nice weather we are going to go fishing. I am so ready for the summer, I plan to fish a lot!

So long story short, I did not get the job promotion. It is disappointing, but there will always be more opportunities in the future. I am more embarrassed than anything to tell the people that said that I would get it or deserve it, that I didn't get it. Oh well, they will find out soon enough.

Today I found out that I have an interview on Friday for a position that I applied for at my work. I wish I had a more of a heads up to prep myself but at the same time it makes it so I don't have to freak out longer. I want to be hopeful that I get it because everyone thinks I would be good at it and I do really well. But I don't want to be disappointed if I don't get it.

Week was pretty good, brother's birthday was one Monday, had fun celebrating that. The weekend is what killed me: All work and no play makes me a very dull person. Next week will be even funner though. Going to be close to hitting a 40 hour week. Oh well the money will be good. Love paying for school! I will also be saving up to see my friend in boston in the fall. I also would like to save up to buy some nice fishing gear. Hopefully it will happen.

It's like mother nature decided to skip Spring and go strait to Summer. Yesterday it was 70 degrees and my room got up to 80. Today it's supposed to be another 70 degree day. It's great for walks, which I enjoy much. I will actually take my dog out for more then 5 seconds! This weather makes me want to go camping! Thankfully I might get a chance to do that this summer with my friends. I have a feeling I am going to have a packed full summer. But I am ready and excited for it!

So on my lovely spring break I got to spend it sick. I felt absolutely fine, I just lost my voice for two days; and that ruined the plans I had made.
So instead I vegged out and watched countless hours of Dragon Ball and after I finished all the series in that I watched Trigun.

I did happen to make a loaf of banana bread for the first time, and it tasted very good!

It's going to be a long day..

So I go to sleep with a slight sore throat; thinking that it will be gone by morning. Nope. I woke up at 3am in lots of pain. I could not find the honey and so I had to rummage through many cupboards until I found the cough drops and ibuprofen. I did not fall asleep till past 4 and then I had to wake up again at 6 to walk the dog and get ready for the day. Which is fine except for the fact that I burned my hand in multiple places.. And then I have classes till 3pm and then I got to zoom off to work which starts at 3:30 and goes till 11:30pm. Thankfully tomorrow I don't start until 4:30 and can sleep in.
It's going to be quite the day.

How people function off such little sleep.. I don't know how they do it. I used to be able too, but now.. I just feel like a zombie that can't do anything..

Watched the Oscars today, I have mixed feelings about them. I need to see Hugo and The Artist before I can make a final comment though. I have realized that as positive as I can be, I am very negative and hateful. Which is really not fun. I need some pointers to help get me out of that.

Awesomeness!

I had a ridiculously awesome time driving 40 minutes with my friend to visit another friend. We pigged out like it was our last meal (at least I did!) while having a Mr. Beanathon. So much fun!

Everyone needs a day for rest..

I slept for almost 12 hours and aside from walking the dog and going to the gym for an hour. I did nothing except lay around and listen to music. Exhaustion finally hit me, but it felt good to just relax and do nothing.

The end to this week has been quite busy. Go go go it has felt like. No time for myself or school work.. Starting with Thursday, school, then work called me in to see if I could work, so of course I did. Friday they called me to come in earlier then my scheduled shift. Saturday I took half of another coworkers shift so I had an 11 hour day, today an 8 hour shift. Now I finally have some time to start doing some school work. Tomorrow I work most of the day as well so it will be interesting how I take care of all that needs being done. This semester defiantly has not been going as well as the last. I already can't wait for the new week to be done, and it hasn't even started! Why do I do this to myself?? Oh right! I need the money. Ugh I wish money wasn't needed so badly.

I don't know what I am doing with my life.. I'm kind of sick of it and the surprises it brings. I really REALLY hate how strong my morals are. It makes me so frickin' boring. Maybe I should pick up a pack of cigarets and suck the life out of me.. Yeah that sounds like a plan. Make those endless dreams of mine come true. Always craving a cigaret when I wake up.. But oh wait. I need my lungs to play the french horn. There goes that idea. Maybe I should just start drinking myself to sleep... But oh wait.. I would be a hypocrite then.
And that would be my morals kicking in...

Woohoo!

Lets see here.. I bought myself a French horn (used of course), and now I am broke! And trying to pay for college! But I couldn't be more happy. I missed playing the french horn SO much.
Aside from that, I am a little unsure of where my life is headed.. Very confusing stuff. But I am going to try and stay happy regardless!
On a side note, I am re-addicted to the group "In Flames," great, GREAT band! I recommend their music if you like metal.

I'm going to turn myself around.

I have an idea of what I want to do with my life. But it is a big decision to make so I am going to think about it for a year.. I'm not going to say what until I for sure know if it is what I really want.
But for the moment, I got a gym membership. I am sick of being the weak one in the group. So I am going to fix that.
